For residents with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related conditions, Vi at Grayhawk provides a structured, comfortable environment within our care center. Our memory support setting helps residents adapt to their environment. We use a person-centered approach, and memory cues, to instill a sense of familiarity. To help our residents stay engaged, we offer a variety of specialized programs and activities. These activities, developed to suit a broad range of interests and abilities, are designed to promote a sense of engagement and well-being, while helping residents stay as independent as possible.
Seeing a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia-related conditions can be daunting. To help with the transition, Vi at Grayhawk helps families with the educational resources needed to familiarize themselves with the dementia process. Care center staff also refers families to support groups in their area, and invites speakers to come into the community to help families learn more about dementia and Alzheimer's care.
